"Agreement Made" for Italian Concert in August

Date: July 23, 2002
Editor: Cranguy

An article newly published in Il Centro states that The Cranberries have been hired as a last-minute "substitute" to replace the singer Jovanotti on August 23rd in Aquila, Italy. The multi-artist week-long concert series, organized by l'Istituzione Perdonanza, hopes to raise awareness on several worldwide social and human rights issues.

"It's characteristic," comments the director of l'Istituzione Perdonanza, Kind Michele, "that they have made the difference in the quality of the names available [for this concert]. Our hope is that the presence of the artists engages you in social topics of our own brotherhood..."

The article states that the agreement has been finalized, but as always, we await official confirmation!
